ATPE
The Association of Texas Professional Educators is the preeminent educator association in Texas and makes a positive difference in the lives of educators and in the lives of schoolchildren. As professionals, our members are committed to supporting quality public education and the professional rights and obligations of the education community.

Drama Club
Promotes the appreciation of theatrical arts as an important facet of education at Schreiner University

Pre-Law Society
The Pre-Law Society is an organization for students interested in the legal profession.

Science Club
The Science Club strives to promote issues surrounding the field of science. Science Club is a superb outlet for those interested in science to obtain and apply knowledge gained through participation in state and national organizations.

Honorary

Alpha Chi
Alpha Chi is a nationally recognized student honor society for juniors and seniors. The organization strives to promote and recognize outstanding student scholarship and character.

Alpha Lambda Delta
Alpha Lambda Delta is a national honor society recognizing students who have achieved outstanding scholarship status during their freshman year at the college and university level.

Schreiner Honors
The Honors program values its members’ unique histories and recognizes each individual in the quest to interpret his/her place in this world. The program intends to provide personalized learning experiences to meet the needs and interests of academically aggressive college students by offering: courses designed to engaged students in a dynamic liberal arts education; co-curricular opportunities to develop academically, socially, and spiritually; recognition of such student “Schreiner Honors Scholars;” and standards advantageous for graduate school admission.

Religious

Baptist Student Ministry
An organization open to all students interested in fellowship of the Christian faith. Activities are supported and guided by Baptist theology.

Celtic Cross
This is a diverse fellowship of Presbyterian Christians at Schreiner who provide weekly programs for the college community.

Episcopal/Lutheran Student Association
As one of the religious organizations, its purpose is to teach and live out the covenant between God and His people and to expand our boundaries to be inclusive of all God’s creation within the doctrines of the Episcopal and Lutheran faiths.

Young Catholic Adults
Purpose is to learn more about the Catholic faith, its teachings, doctrine, and to promote fellowship among Catholic students.

Service

Best Buddies
Best Buddies is a national collegiate organization committed to providing friendship, fellowship and mentorship for adults in the community with special needs.

Colleges Against Cancer
Colleges Against Cancer is a collaboration of college students, faculty, and staff dedicated to fighting cancer, volunteering for the American Cancer Society and improving college communities by instating and supporting programs of the American Cancer Society.

ECO-TERRA Club
The purpose of ECO-TERRA is to generate, sustain and further develop interest, knowledge, and beautification opportunities in gardening among Schreiner University students, faculty and campus community.

Schreiner Community Outreach Program (SCOP)
Purpose is to serve as a clearinghouse for volunteer activity, to benefit the people of the Kerrville and the Schreiner Communities, and to help students gain social awareness.

Schreiner Wellness Advisory Team (SWAT)
The mission of SWAT is to provide a range of fun and educational services and programs to increase awareness of changing student health and safety issues. These issues are related to many aspects of college life including alcohol, and other drugs, tobacco, sex and relationships.

Greek

Alpha Sigma Alpha
Alpha Sigma Alpha, the first women's fraternity founded in the Twentieth Century, was founded at Longwood University, Farmville, Virginia, on November 15, 1901. The purpose of Alpha Sigma Alpha is to cultivate friendship among members, and in every form such deeds and to mold such opinions as will tend to elevate and ennoble womanhood in the world.

Chi Phi
Since 1824, the Chi Phi social fraternity has existed for the purpose of promoting brotherhood and individual growth through truth, honor, friendship, personal integrity and academic excellence.

Delta Phi Epsilon
This social sorority is a society founded to promote good fellowship among women students based upon their good moral character, regardless of nationality or creed.

Phi Delta Theta
The principals articulated by the Bond of Phi Delta Theta are friendship, sound learning, and moral rectitude. As a social fraternity, Phi Delta Theta believes recruitment, education, involvement, and responsibility allow their members the opportunities to gain leadership skills, cooperation, and confidence.

Social

Delaney Community Council
To provide Delaney Hall with an active student voice that represents the students of Delaney Hall.

Flato/LA Community Council
To unite the residents of Flato Hall and provide an active student voice that can better the living environment.

Pecan Grove Community Council
To better the PG Complex by allowing a voice for residents that will help promote a better home environment.

Trull Community Council
Trull Community Council provides an active student voice that represents the residents of Trull Hall.

Special Interests

College Republicans
Purpose is to inform student members who desire knowledge and seek to gain leadership skills in regard to their political preference. This organization is meant for students to learn the process of government from all angles.

Cycling Club
The Cycling Club is an excellent opportunity for outdoor enthusiasts and others interested in the sport of marathon cycling and establishing a healthy lifestyle via cycling.

International Club
Purpose is to provide an opportunity for cultural exchange and community between club members and the wider Schreiner community.

Men's Volleyball Club
Purpose is to provide a recreational team sport to the University as well as promoting teamwork and general fitness. The club is active team in the Southern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association.

Non-Traditional Students Association
Purpose is to encourage nontraditional students in their academic endeavors, campus activities, and civic/family responsibilities. This is accomplished by providing a positive environment for study, discussion, and extracurricular activities.

Schreiner Democrats
To provide Democrats on the Schreiner campus a chance to come together and have a voice as well as get more students involved in the Schreiner and Kerrville communities.
