Resident Assistant (RA)
Your RA is a full time student in a leadership position in the residence halls. An RA’s primary responsibility is to help build a sense of community and respect, and to maintain university standards.  The RA is responsible for providing programs and activities to challenge and enhance your college experience.  She or he is also available to listen when you need a friendly ear, to help you with facilities needs, and to direct you to campus resources.

An RA is on duty in each living area from 7pm to 7am everyday for emergencies or other student concerns.

Senior Resident Assistant (SRA)
The SRA is an experienced RA who holds a position of additional responsibility in campus housing. She/He performs all duties of a Resident Assistant, but also serves as advisor to the community council in her/his living area.  This person is a member of the Residence Life Senior Staff Team.

Resident Director (RD)
Your RD is a part-time professional staff member who lives in an apartment in the living area year round.  This person is responsible for the entire area including supervision and training of staff, overseeing programming, managing hall facilities, counseling, and promoting respectful conduct. 

An RD is on-call from 5pm to 8am during the week and 24 hours a day on weekends and holidays for emergencies or other student concerns.

Assistant Director of Residence Life
The Assistant Director assists the Director in all aspects of residence life and housing.  This person oversees Residence Life programming and the community councils in each living area.  The Assistant Director supports all Residence Life functions such as programming, staff selection and training, and development of community standards.

Assistant Dean of Students & Director of Residence Life and Judicial Affairs
The Director is responsible for all aspects of residence life, housing, and judicial affairs.  This person supports all Residence Life functions such as programming, staff selection and training, and development of community standards.  The Director also manages housing and facilities issues including new student housing placement, check-in and checkout, room changes, the housing lottery, meal plans and billing.  As the central judicial officer, the student judicial process is also the Director's responsibility.
