The women of Schreiner
University’s Shooting Sports Team made a strong
showing recently in trap at the USA Shooting Fall
Selection Match in Colorado Springs, CO. The
Schreiner team included two freshmen, Tori Burch
from Mountain Home and Caitlin Barney from Ingram,
as well as junior Rachael Heiden from Clinton, MI,
and sophomore Kelsey Zauhar from Kerrville.

international skeet; in American trap, Kent Freeman, Bill
Thomas and Carlos Valdez; and international trap, Cameron
Schuster, Carlos Valdez and guest competitor Caitlin Barney
of Ingram Tom Moore High School. In individual awards,
Cameron Schuster took the top prize for American skeet and
Carlos Valdez for international skeet.
