Members of
the Schreiner team winning the team awards were Kent
Freeman, Cameron Schuster and Bill Thomas in American and
international skeet; in American trap, Kent Freeman, Bill
Thomas and Carlos Valdez; and international trap, Cameron
Schuster, Carlos Valdez and guest competitor Caitlin Barney
of Ingram Tom Moore High School. In individual awards,
Cameron Schuster took the top prize for American skeet and
Carlos Valdez for international skeet.
Freeman and
Schuster will be competing in upcoming Olympic trials. In
April, Freeman, then a freshman, was named a 2007 All
American by the National Skeet Shooting Society. |

will host the 2008
Olympic Trials for shotgun
events and the 2008
ISSF World Cup for shotgun.
The
HCSSC, an official United
States Olympic training site, provides an elite Olympic
training environment that positively impacts athlete
performance in shooting sports. The full-service shooting
range accommodates national and international events.
Conveniently located on 140 acres just outside of Kerrville,
this facility currently provides a training and competition
venue for the United States Olympic and National shotgun
team and the world. Olympic rifle & pistol venues are
currently being added. |
