Schreiner University’s
students have an incredible opportunity to train and compete
at the highest levels in clay sport shooting at the Hill
Country Shooting Sports Center, just four miles from campus
in Kerrville, Texas.
A newly
recognized student organization, Schreiner Shooting Sports
Society has already fielded teams and sponsored individual
shooters at several competitions. The most recent was the
Schreiner University Skeet/Trap Invitational on October
21–22, 2007 where they took on Texas A&M and Trinity
University. Schreiner’s shooters took home all the team
awards and two of the individual awards, competing in
American and international skeet and trap. The team is
coached by Bill Thomas who has a long career as a
competitive shooter. |
