Last spring a new tradition began here at Schreiner
University — Mountaineer Moms (& Dads) and we would love
for you to be involved.
MMs (&Ds) are supporters of Schreiner University and its
students. Its goal is to “by individual and united
effort, contribute in every way to the comfort and
welfare of the students, and to cooperate with the
faculty of the University in maintaining a high standard
of moral conduct and intellectual attainment.” We
achieve this by supporting our students with lots of
love and encouragement and, of course, little surprises
throughout the year.
We began last spring by making and distributing Finals
Survival Packages for our students during finals week.
We also look forward to doing birthday cakes, birthday
greetings and Christmas goody baskets.
Beginning this
semester, we plan to have monthly meetings and organize
other events throughout the coming years. For those of
you who do not live nearby, we’ll be in touch frequently
through email or regular mail. We hope you can join us.
