Upcoming Travel Opportunities!
There will be two academic travel courses offered in the Spring,
2009, that will allow students to engage their faith and the
world around them:
REL2370 - Travel Course to Taize, France
May 13-25, 2009 Students and faculty will travel to Taize, France, to join
with Christians young adults from around the world in study,
service and prayer. This class will focus on church history,
prayer practices and the many ways faith guides us as we engage
the world around us. Cost is approximately $2,500.
IDST4340 - Ethical Implications of Globalization/Travel
Course to Saltillo, Mexico Over Spring Break, 2009
this course will travel to Saltillo, Mexico to see firsthand
both the benefits and unintended consequences of globalization.
Engaging a broad spectrum of academic disciplines -
international business, Christian Ethics, economics, public
policy and both the Old and New Testament - students will have
the opportunity to visit with business, church and civic leaders
in the area during our travel to Mexico. This course has been
supplemented by an Eli Lilly Grant and will cost approximately
$250.
