To be in the Small Ensemble, you
must be enrolled in either MUSC 1102 (University Choir) or MUSC
2102 (Concert Choir) and audition to be a part of this group.
Auditions are held at the beginning of each semester. The style
of music performed in this group ranges from Classical to Jazz
and Contemporary Pop. This group rehearses twice a week at a
time separate from regular choir rehearsal times. The time
commitment for this group is demanding because this group
performs at numerous community events and school functions
during the semester.
This last Fall semester, the group
performed at many events that ranged from a volunteer fair at
Schreiner, a dinner theater event at the Guadalupe RV Park, a
luncheon for the American Red Cross, for veterans at the V.A.
Hospital in Kerrville, a Kerrville Rotary Luncheon, a Christmas
breakfast for the City of Kerrville Employees and at the
Christmas Lighting in Kerrville at the Courthouse.
