Schreiner University is dedicated to excellence in preparing students to
live purposeful, humane, and productive lives in their work, faith groups,
families and communities. Our student population is over 800 students who
major in 22 subject areas such as professional disciplines, the sciences,
and liberal arts subject areas. Our students and graduates look for
internship, summer, and permanent employment in Texas and throughout the
nation. We would like for you to join the list of employers who hire our
students and graduates.
There are many ways which an employer may work with our office to meet
their recruitment needs. Here are some possibilities:
Informational/Recruitment Booths
Employers are welcome to set up an informational booth in our Cailloux
Student Activity Center. This Center provides high volumes of student
traffic to recruiter booths. Booths are allowed on any day open for
on-campus recruitment.
Interviewing
You may interview students on campus on any day open for on-campus
recruitment for your vacancies. Please give Career Services at least 2
weeks notice to allow time for us to advertise and successfully fill your
interview schedule.
We can provide you with an on-campus interview form via fax or email or
click here to print an on-campus
interview form. (pdf file)
Information Sessions
Many employers sponsor an information session the day or evening
before on-campus interviews are held. These sessions are designed to
informally introduce the student to the company, allow questions about the
company to be asked by the student, and provide a mechanism for the
student and employer to "get to know each other" on an informal basis. We
can possibly arrange for employers to meet with student groups, and in
special cases, classroom presentations.
Posting Job Openings
Employers who wish to post job vacancies for permanent, full time,
part time, internship or summer positions should register on our
primary online resume/job exchange system.
You will have the opportunity to post and monitor your positions, and view
resumes posted by SU students seeking your positions. Or if you prefer,
you may contact our office to receive the more traditional resume referral
through which student resumes can be emailed to you at your request.
