Preparation for Academic and Professional Success

In today’s job market, one thing is certain: college students must begin preparing for the world of work long before graduation. The ACE Program answers this need by fostering workplace readiness in first-year students. While in the program, ACE members will broaden awareness of their strengths, abilities, talents, and career options.  Additionally, they will make valuable connections with other career-oriented students, community members, Schreiner alumni, and local employers. Finally, they will engage in specific career-related learning activities in preparation for an internship at the end of the academic year.

- Learning Community

- Freshman Seminar Course

- Develop the tools to explore majors and careers

- Discover your individual strengths

- Connection to alumni and professionals in the workforce

- Potential for Summer Internship

- Enrollment in one course per semester as a cohort
- Attendance at and participation in ACE sponsored programs

Application Instructions: Once you have been admitted to Schreiner University, you will have access to the online application through your Schreiner One account. Priority applications are due by January 15, 2014.
