In recognition of the positive aspects of Greek Life and their effects on student development and growth while in college, Schreiner University hosts a Greek community composed of national fraternities and sororities.
Currently, we have two national fraternities -- Chi Phi, Iota Theta Chapter and Phi Delta Theta, Texas Sigma Chapter -- and two national sororities -- the Delta Phi Epsilon, Gamma Gamma Chapter and Alpha Sigma Alpha, Theta Epsilon Chapter. |

Fall Informal Recruitment 2008
If you think you are interested in Greek Life at Schreiner register for recruitment with Matt Goodwyn, Director of The Mountaineer Fitness Center at TMGoodwyn@schreiner.edu.
We currently have two sororities, Alpha Sigma Alpha as well as Delta Phi Epsilon and two fraternities Chi Phi and Phi Delta Theta.
Fraternity (Men's) Recruitment
The University requires a minimum of a 2.25 GPA to join. Each fraternity has their own specific GPA requirements. To join Chi Phi Fraternity you must have a minimum of a 2.69 GPA and to join Phi Delta Theta Fraternity you must have a minimum of a 2.5 GPA. Freshmen are not eligible for informal fall recruitment and must wait till the spring semester to join a social Greek organization.
Sorority (Women's) Recruitment
Schreiner University Panhellenic Council will be hosting a fall Informal Recruitment. The University requires a minimum of a 2.25 GPA for students to join. Each sorority also has a minimum GPA requirement. To join Alpha Sigma Alpha you must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and to join Delta Phi Epsilon you must have a minimum of 2.75 GPA. Freshmen are not eligible for informal fall recruitment and must wait till the spring semester to join a social Greek organization.
