Thoughts from Mr. Kahl, the Choir Director, about the Italy trip:

No one got put in jail, lost their passport or suddenly got married without the parents knowing about it, therefore, it was a great trip.

Don’t make your tour guide angry, especially if he’s an ex-rugby player for the Italian National Team.

We looked after each other and, for the most part, treated each other with respect.

We sounded well, especially for having a grueling schedule and for the director giving wrong starting pitches at two different events.

Italians like to literally sing for their supper.

No one punched a gypsy in the face.
